Share your feedback on the new Arts & Culture District

In October 2017, Park City Municipal partnered with Webb Management Services, Inc., and arts district development consultant, to launch an extensive community outreach program to survey the Park City community on the needs and desired elements of a arts and culture district. Information was gathered through 80 interviews with community leaders, artists and art enthusiasts, in addition to a public meeting held on November 2, with over 100 attendees. What follows are initial recommendations from Webb resulting from this outreach effort. We look forward to your feedback on these recommendations.

Thanks for taking time to share your opinions. The survey will remain open through December 27, and we will report back to you on the community feedback we receive and how the feedback will be incorporated into the planning process.

Food Hall Concept Design: Click the image for a larger version.

✲ A combination of a farmers market, a place to sell other locally produced food and beverages, and the sale of prepared food that can be consumed there or taken home, plus other events. ✲ Issue an RFP for a development partner and operator, either a for-profit or nonprofit organization. ✲ Priorities for the food hall should be a strong mix of products and prepared foods that drive traffic to the district on the part of both residents and visitors. Informal, live events should also be added to the food hall to increase vibrancy. Food_Hall_Concept
