7.6.23 Update: We have three winners!
Our amazing snow removal team cleared more than 55,000 cubic yards of snow from Park City streets this winter, moving it all to the southeast side of Quinn’s Junction – creating a mountain affectionately known as “Quinneth Peak.”
In April, we challenged you to guess when Quinneth would melt. After nearly three months, national news coverage, and a viral video (80,000+ views) later, we have some people to congratulate!
Out of 171 total guesses below and on our Instagram account, three people correctly guessed that July 5 would be the day Quinneth Peak disappeared. Congratulations to Celia Peterson, Stephen Manning, and Gayle Christensen! Each will receive a certificate and a Park City snow globe for their spot-on guess.
Have you ever wondered where Park City’s snow-hauling crews bring the 55,000 truckloads of snow we’ve accumulated this winter? Look no further than the newest peak in Park City’s landscape in Quinn’s Junction.
Dubbed affectionately as Quinneth Peak (aka the Snowdump), the mountain has risen from five months – and 55,416 cubic yards - of snow removal from Park City’s streets and residential areas by our amazing Public Works Team. While recent storms have added some vert to its already impressive elevation, we anticipate Quinneth will soon begin to melt.
We invite you to weigh in on when the Peak completely melts and becomes but a fond memory of the Great Ridonculous Winter of 2022/23. Enter your prediction below. Please include your full name so we can give you a proper shoutout, a prize, and bragging rights until Quinneth Peak rises again.
