PC MARC Aquatic Facilities and City Park Recreation Building Design Concepts
PC MARC Aquatic Facilities Project Update
3.20.25: Park City Council approved North Ridge Construction Contract, please see Staff Report here.
Project Overview
In 2023, the Park City Council allocated funds to renovate the outdoor aquatic facilities at the PC MARC, incorporating amenities inspired by community feedback. The final design, approved in November 2024, includes:
An 8-lane lap pool
Zero-entry access
A slide
A rock climbing wall
In March 2025, the Council approved additional funding to secure Northridge Construction for the project, with construction slated to begin in April 2025. While the lap pool and its surrounding areas will be affected during construction, the leisure pool will remain fully operational for open swim and programming.
The newly enhanced facilities are expected to open to the public by summer 2026.
Anticipated Timeline
Construction Start: April 2025
Grand Opening: Summer 2026

PC MARC Aquatic Facilities and City Park Recreation Building Design Concepts
In 2023, Park City Council allocated $6 million to renovate the PC MARC outdoor aquatic facilities and $15 million to rebuild the City Park Recreation Building. The Recreation department contracted with professional designers and architects to create concepts for each project.
Now, the team needs your feedback on these initial designs. Both the PC MARC Aquatic Facility renovations and the new City Park Recreation Building will be better facilities with guidance from residents and patrons. By engaging the community, we will create facilities that further our mission statement of enriching the lives in our community through exceptional people, programs, and facilities.
We invite you to view the designs for each project here or in the photo gallery on the right and share your feedback in the survey below.
