To provide the public with information for informed stakeholder participation regarding the proposed Park City Soils (Gordo) Management Facility, Council will review outreach tools, resources, and engagement strategies, and provide input for implementation by the project management team. Staff is aware of the concerns raised in the community and the desire to deepen our level of engagement and education prior to taking additional action on the proposed repository.

City staff is holding a series of virtual and in-person information sessions with stakeholders. Staff, elected officials and environmental experts will participate, listen to stakeholder’s comments and concerns, and provide live answers to questions about the project.
