Project Overview

In 2019, Park City was awarded Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) funding to improve biking and walking connections in the Thaynes Canyon / Three Kings area. In 2025, Park City received additional County funding to continue work on Phase II of the project.

To efficiently use these funds, the project has been implemented in phases:

  • Phase I (Thaynes Canyon Dr.) was completed in Fall 2025.

  • Phase II (Three Kings Dr.) is currently in the alternatives analysis stage.

Phase II will complete the connection between Thaynes Canyon Dr., Silver Star and Park City Mountain Resort, providing new and improved bicycle and pedestrian facilities along Three Kings Dr.

Phase I - COMPLETED Fall 2025

Phase II – Alternatives Analysis

The City is currently conducting an alternatives analysis for Phase II of the project. Public input is an important part of this process, alongside other considerations such as constructability, cost, maintenance, connectivity, safety, and overall feasibility.

We’re reaching out to the community to gather your ideas and input on this phase of the project. Your feedback will help shape improvements that reflect the needs and vision of Park City residents.

Please review the design alternatives below and share your thoughts in the brief survey.
